ในปี 2021 เอริค วิลลาโตร (ประธานและผู้ก่อตั้ง Delafé Testimonies) ได้รู้จักกับ อ้าย วิริยา (Ide Viriya) นักเทศน์ไทย-อเมริกันที่ Rock Presbyterian Church of Maryland (Rock Church) หลังจากบันทึกคำพยานของอ้ายแล้ว เอริคและอ้ายก็เริ่มหารือกันและฝันถึงวันที่จะบันทึกคำพยานในประเทศไทย

ในช่วงฤดูร้อนปี 2023 โอกาสนั้นก็มาถึงเมื่อเอริคและภรรยา เจเนซิส วิลลาโตร ได้ร่วมกับ Rock Church ในทริปพันธกิจไปยังประเทศไทย ในทริปนี้พวกเขาได้มีโอกาสบันทึกคำพยานภาษาอังกฤษจากคนไทยหลายคนที่ได้มอบชีวิตให้กับพระเยซูคริสต์

ในระหว่างทริปนี้ พระเจ้าก็เริ่มให้ภาระใจกับเอริคว่า ประเทศไทยสามารถมีทีมของตัวเองในการบันทึกและแบ่งปันคำพยานในภาษาของพวกเขาเอง เพื่อเข้าถึงคนไทยทั้งในประเทศไทยและทั่วโลก เมื่อเอริคแบ่งปันความคิดนี้กับอ้าย พวกเขาก็เริ่มสนทนา อธิษฐาน และวางแผนเพื่อดูว่าความคิดนี้จะสามารถเป็นจริงได้หรือไม่

เมื่อพวกเขาเริ่มพบผู้ที่สนใจจะเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของทีม Delafé Thai ซึ่งหลายคนเอริคเคยพบเจอระหว่างทริปพันธกิจ พวกเขาจึงเริ่มนัดพบกันผ่านวิดีโอคอลทุกเดือน เพื่ออธิษฐาน ร่วมฝัน และวางแผนไปด้วยกัน ภายใต้การนำของพระเจ้ามิตรภาพและความสัมพันธ์ในทีมก็ยิ่งแน่นแฟ้นขึ้น พร้อมกับการเตรียมตัวผ่านการฝึกอบรมออนไลน์ เมื่อรู้สึกว่าเป็นเวลาที่เหมาะสม เอริคและอ้ายก็เดินทางกลับมาประเทศไทยอีกครั้งเพื่อพบกับทีมในเดือนสิงหาคม 2025 และในครั้งนั้นเอง ทีมงานก็ได้บันทึกคำพยานภาษาไทยแปด (8) เรื่องแรกสำหรับช่อง Delafé ภาษาไทย!เมื่อพวกเขาเริ่มพบผู้ที่สนใจจะเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของทีม Delafé Thai ซึ่งหลายคนเอริคเคยพบเจอระหว่างทริปพันธกิจ พวกเขาจึงเริ่มนัดพบกันผ่านวิดีโอคอลทุกเดือน เพื่ออธิษฐาน ร่วมฝัน และวางแผนไปด้วยกัน ภายใต้การนำของพระเจ้ามิตรภาพและความสัมพันธ์ในทีมก็ยิ่งแน่นแฟ้นขึ้น พร้อมกับการเตรียมตัวผ่านการฝึกอบรมออนไลน์เมื่อรู้สึกว่าเป็นเวลาที่เหมาะสม เอริคและอ้ายก็เดินทางกลับมาประเทศไทยอีกครั้งเพื่อพบกับทีมในเดือนสิงหาคม 2025 และในครั้งนั้นเอง ทีมงานก็ได้บันทึกคำพยานภาษาไทยแปด (8) เรื่องแรกสำหรับช่อง Delafé ภาษาไทย!

In 2021, Eric Villatoro (President and Founder of Delafé Testimonies) was introduced to Ide Viriya, a Thai American pastor at the Rock Presbyterian Church of Maryland (Rock Church).  After recording Ide’s testimony, Eric and Ide would occasionally chat and dream about one day recording testimonies in Thailand!  In the summer of 2023, the opportunity finally arrived when Eric and his wife Genesis Villatoro joined the Rock Church on their mission trip to Thailand.  On this trip, they had the opportunity to record several testimonies, in English, of Thais who had given their lives to Jesus Christ! 

It was during this trip, that the Lord began to impress on Eric’s heart that Thailand could have its own team to record and share testimonies in their native language to reach Thais in Thailand and across the Earth.  Sharing his thoughts with Ide, they began to have conversations, pray and plan to see if this could become a reality.  As they began to find people in Thailand who were interested in being a part of the Delafé Thai team, many of whom Eric had already met on his mission trip there, they all started to meet together on monthly video calls to pray, dream, and plan. As the Lord continued to lead and guide the team, friendships and relationships were strengthened and virtual trainings were conducted.  Sensing that it was time to go back, Eric and Ide returned to Thailand to meet with the team in August 2025.  It was then that the team recorded their first eight (8) Thai language testimonies for the Delafé Thai language channel!
